Verily, he himself is not of his own

Puttā matthi dhanammatthi, iti bālo vihaññati;

Attā hi attano natthi, kuto puttā kuto dhanaṃ.

"I have sons, I have wealth", 

so thinks the fool und is troubled.

Verily, he himself is not of his own.

Whence sons? Whence wealth?
