the realm of death which is so hard to cross

 Ye ca kho sammadakkhāte, dhamme dhammānuvattino;

Te janā pāramessanti, maccudheyyaṃ suduttaraṃ.

But those who follow the Law will reach the further shore, 

and pass through the realm of death which is so hard to cross.
